Our Building Maintenance team, who are part of our wider Property department are actively recruiting for a Building Maintenance Controller to join on a permanent basis.

Based at our Retail Support Centre in Birmingham City Centre, your responsibilities as a Building Maintenance Controller will include:
• Providing a comprehensive maintenance service and support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and annual maintenance projects
• Dealing with telephone and email enquiries from businesses, all levels of the Operations teams, EHO’s, and external Contractors etc
• Daily administration of CAFM system to update, chase, query, investigate, raise quotes, authorise, seek alternatives and process all reactive orders
• Auditing maintenance expenditure
• Ensuring issues are actioned appropriately and promptly whilst taking ownership until resolution is achieved, and highlighting issues for further investigation
• Monitoring reactive revenue and capital replacement expenditure against budget and projection

What we’d like to see from you:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a customer support and administration role, multi-portfolio background highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both telephone and written
• Highly organised
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
