melt bakery is focused on creating high quality ice cream cookie sandwiches and providing a great customer experience. Within the familiar framework of an ice cream cookie sandwich, we maintain a menu of classic choices alongside seasonal flavors and adventurous combinations.<br><br><br><br>Since our debut in 2010, we have applied the same passion we have for food to our business, resulting in sustainable and responsible growth. As founders, we regularly stand behind our carts, from Madison Square Eats to the High Line, and at events such as GoogaMooga and the Williamsburg Park Concert Series. Through three seasons of ground-level experience, we have served ice cream sandwiches to tens of thousands of happy customers, powering through numerous logistical obstacles and adverse weather conditions.<br><br><br><br>Our sandwiches appeared on the front page of the New York Times in summer of 2011, and we continue to receive excellent reviews from food bloggers and critics alike. Our “Best Dessert” win at the 2012 Vendy awards scored us a spot on NBC’s New York Live (on the High Line!) as well as an article in the April 2013 issue of Rachael Ray Everyday magazine. Last fall, Julian was invited to appear on Fox 5’s Good Day New York to demonstrate our pumpkin Meltcake™ recipe.<br><br><br><br>The strength of our brand depends on the quality of our staff – our team shares our ideals of sustainability and our passion for food. We make sure everyone involved with us is thoroughly knowledgeable in ice cream and cookie production, ingredient content/sourcing, and food safety, as well as customer service and business ethics.
