We’re on the hunt for a talented, passionate Gardener to join our brilliant Maintenance team at The Mitre, Hampton Court — a truly iconic setting where history meets glamour.
Welcome to The MitreOur 40-bedroom hotel is no ordinary stay. Think glamorous restaurants, cocktail bars with character, enchanting river terraces, an orangery bursting with charm, an all-day café, and even a quirky little library for the curious. Nestled beside Hampton Court Palace, The Mitre is riverside elegance at its finest — and your handiwork will be the very first thing our guests fall in love with.
You’ll be the guardian of our beautiful outdoor spaces, ensuring every leaf, lawn and flowerbed reflects the luxury our guests expect.
You will:
- Take pride in maintaining the hotel’s exterior spaces to the highest standard
- Confidently lead and support a small team, delegating tasks with ease
- Bring your passion for plants, pruning, planting and seasonal maintenance
- Use and care for a variety of garden machinery
- Roll up your sleeves and get stuck into a wide range of tasks
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to everything you do
- 1–2 years’ experience gardening within hotels or private residences
- A genuine love for horticulture and the outdoors
- Happy working as part of a team — and leading when needed
- Professional, personable and proud of your work
