Overview

Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Executive to join our team. Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.

  

Key Responsibilities

·         Being responsible for the reactive sales of residential meeting and Events enquiries from start to contract handover. Enquiries will be both corporate and social segments. Communication channels include telephone, email, or 3rd party intermediary sites.

·         Creating quotations and proposals based on customer requirements, conducting regular follow-up calls to identify changing needs.

·         Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and issuing contracts.

·         Inputting enquiries into the relevant booking systems and ensuring data integrity.

·         Conducting site visits to showcase the hotels.

·         Conducting post-event calls to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels and secure repeat business.

·         Engaging with the hotel Operations team to ensure client expectations can be met and exceeded.

·         Assisting Group and Events Sales Manager

 Essential Skills and Qualifications

·         Background in delivering a similar service in a 5-star environment.

·         Excellent communication and organisational skills

·         Good working knowledge of MS Office

·         Knowledge of CRM and reservations systems

·         Have a flexible schedule and skill to manage multiple tasks and prioritise.

·         Understand how to manage a team and appreciate diversity of colleagues and guests.
