Overview
Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious Business Development Manager for Inhabit Hotels to join our team. Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Key Responsibilities
· Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
· Analyse customer needs and develop targeted strategies to meet those needs.
· Monitor industry developments and emerging markets to identify potential growth areas.
· Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
· Identify and prioritize potential clients, partners, and markets for expansion.
· Recognise, target, and acquire corporate clients to increase high ADR bookings and revenue.
· Develop and implement strategies to maximize Average Daily Rate, considering market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer demand.
· To actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales to develop future and repeat business contributing to the profitability of the hotels within the Montcalm Collection.
· To generate business from warm business leads and where possible new business contacts through attending face to face sales meetings to build lasting relationships.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales pitches, presentations, and promotional materials.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders.
· Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements with clients and suppliers to maximize profitability.
· Set and achieve revenue targets by implementing effective sales strategies based, pricing models, and promotional corporate campaigns.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnership.
· Identify and secure new business opportunities by networking, attending industry events, and leveraging personal and professional contacts.
· Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the hotel’s offerings and market presence.
· Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract closure.
· Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing, occupancy, and profitability.
· Analyse and report on sales performance, market trends, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
· Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue during peak and off-peak seasons.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and execution of business strategies.
· Provide mentorship and support to junior sales and business development staff.
· Prepare detailed reports and presentations on sales performance, business development activities, and market insights for senior management.
· Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, client interactions, and sales processes in the CRM system.
