Overview

Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious Learning and Development Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role by creating and delivering of bespoke training programmes, with the intention of expanding on the talent and skills across all employees at all levels within our business.

Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.


Key Responsibilities

·         Creating training programmes that are aligned with our objectives and having a strong understanding of what these are.

·         Acting as the go to within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding training and development plans.

·         Working closely with various leaders across the organisation and having a full understanding of their departments and training requirements.

·         Embracing different styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching.

·         Having an awareness of the allocated budget and an ability to find solutions in order to implement the required training.  

·         Building relationships with 3rd party training providers.

·         Managing the development of the People team from a training perspective.

·         Drive our Apprenticeship Programme to develop new talent within the business.

·         Design learning pathways for all employees depending on their job role and aspirations.

·         Work closely with the Head of Departments based on their team’s training needs and matrix


 Essential Qualifications

·         Innovative aptitude, to develop new concepts and to deliver creative solutions.

·         Service minded and ability to involve and support operations.

·         An understanding of technology and its role in Training and Development, from e-learning to Microsoft Office and Opera system.

·         Demonstrated obsession regarding the customer experience.

·         Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service.
