Overview

Montcalm Collection is looking for a Business Development Director of Leisure & Entertainment Sales to help grow revenue and strengthen our presence in the luxury leisure and entertainment markets. This exciting role is all about building strong relationships and finding new opportunities in key international regions, especially the US, Middle East, and Asia.

You will lead business development initiatives for flagship properties—Montcalm Mayfair, Montcalm East, Montcalm Royal London House, and Inhabit Hotels—while supporting cross-selling efforts across the broader Montcalm Collection portfolio. Leveraging your deep industry network and expertise, you will manage strategic accounts, forge impactful partnerships, and elevate the brand’s presence in the global luxury leisure and entertainment landscape.

Key Responsibility

The key responsibilities as a Business Development Director in Luxury Leisure Sales and Entertainment would likely include:

·         Market Analysis: Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential competitors within the luxury leisure and entertainment industry.

·         Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster business growth and maintain a strong network.

·         Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, considering market dynamics and customer preferences in the luxury segment.

·         New Business Development: Actively seeking and pursuing new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's footprint in the luxury leisure market.

·         Client Management: Managing relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue.

·         Team Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure a cohesive approach in delivering luxury leisure and entertainment services.

·         Reporting and Analysis: Providing regular reports and analysis on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the Director of Sales and Commercial Director for strategic decision-making.

·         Brand Representation: Serving as a brand ambassador, upholding the company's image and values in all interactions and engagements within the luxury sector.

·         Contract Negotiation: Leading negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms for the company while maintaining positive client relationships.

·         Adaptability: Staying informed about industry changes, adjusting strategies accordingly, and being agile in response to shifting market conditions.

·         Very good knowledge of the leisure industry and processes within the US, Midde East and Asia and local markets.

•         Strategic Thinking: Strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market data, identify opportunities, and contribute to the development of effective business strategies.

•         Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiation techniques to secure favourable deals and contracts.

•         Client Management: Previous experience in managing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for additional business.

•         Bachelor's Degree: Often, a bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is required; however, relevant experience can sometimes be considered in lieu of a degree.

•         Results-Driven: A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.


Desirable Attributes:

  • Previous experience in boutique or townhouse-style hotels.
  • Familiarity with Opera PMS and CRM.
  • Multilingual (especially Arabic, Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Passionate about delivering personalised, design-led hospitality experiences.
