Overview
Montcalm Collection are looking for a skilled and ambitious Cluster Chief Engineer to join our team. The Cluster Chief Engineer (CCE) is responsible for cost-effective maintenance and smooth operation of a group of hotels. The CCE ensures compliance with safety standards, oversees maintenance teams, and manages budgets while upholding high standards of upkeep. Help to shape the Montcalm Collection’s next chapter and showcase your skills. Become a trusted ambassador for one of our hotels and take advantage of the opportunity to move between properties, achieving the service and product delivery standards for the department with a high degree of customer care and service.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage engineering/maintenance activities.
· Oversee contracts and maintenance efficiency.
· Manage the physical plant and safety systems.
· Maintain equipment for effectiveness.
· Plan and evaluate preventative maintenance.
· Empower employees for exceptional service.
· Maintain open, collaborative relationships.
· Ensure regulatory compliance and Administer property policies.
· Support Green Program and CSR.
· Prioritise and practice Health & Safety guidelines, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Essential Qualifications
· 10 years of Chief Engineer experience in luxury hospitality.
· Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications.
· Safety and facilities management expertise.
· Strong financial management and reporting skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Project management skills.
· Knowledge of hotel policies and sustainability.
