Description
We are looking for an experienced commissary chef to work in and manage our commissary in Brooklyn (Dumbo Heights). You will work closely with our Director of Operations and our R & D chef.

What we need from you:
Overall management of the staff, kitchen, equipment, and production within the commissary
Teach and adhere to company policy and standards
Meet daily production schedules through effective management
Hiring, training and scheduling of employees within the commissary
Ordering and receiving product for the commissary and ensuring product meets company standards
Follow and enforce all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations
Effectively manage and resolve conflict among employees in a productive manner and in accordance with HR regulations and compliance
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of kitchen management experince in a production kitchen
Hotel, catering, or commissary chef experience required
Strong management and leadership qualities
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong communication - verbal and written - organizational, and time-management skills
Computer and technological literacy
Ability to follow and adhere to company systems
