Description
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Shucks fresh or steamed shellfish, such as clams; Holds shellfish firmly or against block and forces shucking knife between halves
of shell at hinge juncture.
• Twists knife to sever muscles holding shell closed and pries open.
• Cuts shellfish from shell, flips it into container, and discards shell.
• May break off edges of shells before shucking, using hatchet
• Must be energetic and able to move in fast paces environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work with heavy volumes of people
• Must be Honest/Friendly with an outgoing personality
• Must be able to multi task
• Must be able to prioritize
• Must clean surfaces and food preparation areas at all times
• Always cleaning, never leaning
• Must maintain clean proper standardized attire
• Must speak clear and concise English
