Led by and under the day-to-day leadership of Chris Golding, our kitchen is driven by respect for ingredients, disciplined technique, and a collaborative team culture.
As Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in the kitchen, working side-by-side with Executive Chef Chris Golding to deliver consistently exceptional food while nurturing and developing the brigade.
You will help set standards, lead services, and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is a hands-on role for a chef who leads by example and takes pride in supporting both people and product.
Support the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations
Lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation
Uphold hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards
Assist with training, mentoring, and developing junior chefs
Support ordering, stock control, and waste management
Contribute to menu execution and seasonal development
Foster a calm, respectful, and professional kitchen culture
