Catering Manager (Front of House)

Catering Managers& Supervisors assemble!

 We are looking for experienced Catering Managers for indoor and outdoor events this summer. The role will involve overseeing all catering and event operations, working closely with both the client and the Off to Work team ensuring a cohesive relationship and delivering the highest standard of service and customer satisfaction. Events such as weddings, award ceremonies & sporting events as well as many others.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage and oversee all Catering and Event operations.
• Developing operational service and food standards; demonstrating innovation, flair and creativity in keeping abreast of industry standards.
• Implement service standards to ensure the team delivers a high quality of service.
• Working with the Head Chef and support them in their role to maintain a high standard of food and delivery to event guests.
• Maximise staff engagement.
• Plan rotas in line with appropriate personnel whilst the event is taking place as well as break rotas.
• Ensure that staff are well presented and behave in a professional manner at all times.
• To lead the F&B team to consistently drive operational standards, championing attention to detail and exceeding client expectations.
• •Adhere to and follow all licensing policies and procedures.

You’re perfect for the role if you have...

• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Considerable ability to listen effectively.
• Ability to delegate, organise projects and establish priorities consistent with company objectives.
• Ability to effectively deal with shareholders, customers and team members, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.

Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience within Catering and Events management role.
• Previous experience within a contract catering and events is an advantage
• Proven track record of strong leadership, decisiveness and can work on one’s own initiative
• Proven track record of success in achieving objectives
• Proven ability to motivate and train a team of professionals.
