Description

Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof.

Our flagship is a three-story space home to an all-day cafe, highly-curated marketplace featuring sought-after ingredients and prepared specialty items, a casual trattoria rooted in classic Italian cuisine, rare Amaro Library, versatile private event spaces, and year-round rooftop. 

In terms of both cuisine and service, our standards are high – and so are those of our guests.

Requirements:

*At least 1 year of restaurant experience

*Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) 

Preferred Qualifications:

*High School Diploma or equivalent 

What we expect from you:

*Ability to act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Officina 

*Willingness to work and learn in a team environment

*A passion for food services 

*Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast paced environment

*Maintain a positive and professional attitude with the team(s) 

*Strive to present the best products 

Key Responsibilities: 

*Assist captains with refilling guests’ glasses, getting food out in a timely manner

*Taking and making known of guests’ special requests

*Removing any used plates/flatware

*replenishing table supplies 

Physical Requirements:

*Ability to walk and stand for extended periods 

*Ability to lift up to 10 pounds 

*All employees are to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specifics will be provided)
