Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof.

Requirements

*Minimum of 2 years hosting

*18 years or older 

*Excellent customer service skills

*Experience working with reservation system(s)

Preferred Qualifications

*High School Diploma or equivalent

*Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast paced environment

*Maintain a positive and professional attitude with the team(s) 

*Strive to present the best products 

*Contribute to weekly staff education meetings 

Key Responsibilities 

*Greeting every guest as they enter the restaurant

*Offer assistance to our guests with coats, bags, strollers, etc.

*Accommodating guest requests to best of ability 

*Give warm farewell to every guest as they leave the restaurant 

*Immediately notifying management of any guest complaints, including any interactions with a guest that causes the host to believe the guest is not 100% happy with their visit

*Answering phones in a professional and polite manner, taking reservations, accommodating guest requests, and answering any questions

*Offering the best as possible customer service

*Handling Tock (reservation system) to make guests’ check-in and seating as smooth as possible

*Maintaining updated table information on Tock 

*Let events team know about any necessary information/inquiries

*Conveying all appropriate guest information to managers, staff, and chef (VIP’s, special occasions, events, special requests) 

*Quoting accurate wait times for walk-in guests

*Maintaining a clean and orderly host station and entrance area

*Helping with other side work as needed

 Physical Requirements 

*Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time 

*All employees are to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance (specifics will be provided)
