Description

Boujis Group is looking for a Wine Director that share our passion for Hospitality and service, has a strong work ethic, is committed to excellence, and are excited to be part of our team. This position will consist of evening and weekend services.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrates a robust knowledge in wine and ensures the wine list is keeping with the menu and recent trends.

    Excellent food and wine knowledge with a strong foundation of wine and food knowledge.

  2. Creates a memorable “experience” for all guests by ensuring exceptional service, showmanship and professionalism.

  3. Works with Beverage Operations Director to consistently meet revenue and profitability goals for beverage programs.

  4. Strong understanding of POS and inventory systems 

  5. Conducts all wine related training programs with a. desire and ability to teach and foster growth within the staff.

  6. Ability to communicate clearly, efficiently,  and eloquently. 

  7. Participates in the purchasing of wines, spirits and special requested items related to cigars, glassware, etc.

  8. Assists all outlets with wine service as needed.

  9. Maintains inventory of wines on property. Ensures accountability for all product at each outlet.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal communications skills.

  2. Must have experience in Food and Beverage Operations.  

  3. Experience must include at least 5 years fine dining experience and 5 years in management.

  4. Must be a trained Sommelier and have extensive wine knowledge.

  5. Must have membership to a Sommelier Guild.
