Boujis Group is seeking a highly motivated Controller to join the team to help manage the month end close process and other accounting duties as requested.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain general ledger
· Perform month end close procedures- prepare journal entries and account reconciliations (bank reconciliation, credit card receipts reconciliation, accounts receivable, etc.)
· Perform review of balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure accuracy and validity of transactions
· Analyze P&L variances and cash flow forecast
· Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
· Assist the restaurant management team with the invoice entries to ensure timely payment to vendors
· Assist with annual external audit
· Communicate with restaurant management to obtain and/or explain financial information · File sales and use tax returns

Qualification:

· 3 to 5 years’ experience as controller necessary
· Highly detail-oriented and organized
· Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines and manage multiple assignments
· Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Familiarity with accounting software and programs (SAGE INTACCT experience a plus plus) · Proficient with Microsoft products
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
· Hospitality industry experience a plus
· CPA or CPA candidates preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
