Osteria Morini, first opened in NYC’s Soho neighborhood, is excited to bring the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to Roosevelt Field this Fall. This 5th, and newest Osteria Morini location, is now hiring, and selectively looking for candidates with either solid prior experience in management or a strong service background, with an eagerness to step up to the Assistant General Management position. The candidate needs to be highly motivated and effective at working in a fast-paced team environment and have a proven successful track record.

Responsibilities include:
- Able to run staff in the absence of a General Manager
- Oversees the Bar making sure inventory and supplies are done on a periodic basis
- Training, coaching, and mentoring staff
- Organize and supervise shifts
- Lead management team through directives and goals
- Ability to interact with customers and make sure they have satisfactory experience
- Knowledge about wines and beverages
- Monitor and track business results and forecast respectively
- Deliver superior service and maximize client satisfaction
- Communicate effectively across all facets and departments
- Demonstrate an emphasis on driving business while improving quality and client retention
- Respond efficiently and accurately to client issues
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Strong background as Manager in high volume, fine dining and knowledge of elevated service standards
- A strong passion for food, wine, and warm hospitality
- Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
- Ability to multitask and plan ahead
- Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to the brand success
- Must have open and flexible availability
- Must have strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills
