Estuary Brasserie & Bar menu highlights a commitment to serving high-quality New American fare, offering three variations on tartare as well as tarts, sandwiches & burgers, and seasonal salads — all with a focus on simplicity. The restaurant also features a standalone raw bar with an extensive menu, including locally-sourced oysters from Long Island’s Peconic Bay. A 28-seat U-shaped, wraparound cocktail bar serves aperitivos, local craft beer on tap, and
classic cocktails showcasing Brooklyn craft distilleries and breweries. To supplement the bar
offerings, Olivier Flosse’s curated wine list features 24 different labels to choose from, largely
from France, Italy and the United States.

Job Duties:
Taking food and beverage orders, delivering orders, interacting with the guest and being hospitable while upholding the company’s guest service standards.

-Welcome guests upon their arrival and take food and beverage orders according to the guest’s specifications
-Enter guest orders and close out checks using our point of service system, POS system
-Maintain venue safety and sanitation
-Demonstrate menu knowledge and use the knowledge to enthusiastically make recommendations about menu items, entertainment options in the venue, future parties, etc.
-Partner with team members on ensuring the cleanliness standards are kept up
-Complete side work such as: rolling silverware, replenishing condiments, cleaning menus and etc.
-Uphold local liquor and food handling laws

Position Requirements:
-1 year of previous serving experience preferably in a fast pace and full service restaurant or entertainment venue
-Successfully complete a menu test
-Enthusiastic, outgoing and cheerful!!
-Passionate about guest service and hospitality


Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit up to 8 hours a day.
• Moderate standing and walking
• Occasional stooping, kneeling or crawling.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps
• Constant receiving detailed information through oral and written communication
• Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
• Constant computer/POS Register
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine
• Constant reaching, turning, and performing precision work around the store
