We are looking for a Food Runner to join the team! The exceptional guest experience will be yours to create, while immersing yourself in the “little extras” that make The Original Pancake House Edgewater truly stand out.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Make all of our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to take care of them
Know regular guests by name; know their preferences and needs
Bring our delicious food out to the tables quickly
Respond promptly and courteously to requests
Keep your work space clean and presentable
Communicate regularly with your team mates to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Go above and beyond guest expectations
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant

You need to be:

A person who loves food and has the ability to create a welcoming environment. You should have at least 1 year of experience in a high volume restaurant. You have excellent English communication skills, and you have the desire to work as part of a team. Standing for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 25 pounds shouldn’t bother you, and working weekends or some holidays should be fine too.James Beard Award Winning breakfast restaurant located in beautiful City Place Edgewater New Jersey Overlooking NYC skyline.
