Team Member: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

As a Catering Professional at Panera Bread, you’ll play a key role in growing our catering business and creating exceptional experiences for our guests. This is a full-time, hands-on position with an early 5:00 AM start time and a typical 2:00 PM end time.

You’ll be responsible for the catering process from start to finish—from taking and managing catering orders, preparing and packaging food, coordinating order details, and delivering orders directly to our guests.

This is a fast-paced role for someone who enjoys being active, organized, independent, and connected to the community. You’ll use a wide range of skills including customer service, communication, sales, organization, time management, multitasking, food preparation, and relationship building.

What You’ll Do

• Start each day in the café preparing and organizing catering orders.
• Take and manage catering orders while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.
• Prepare, assemble, package, and stage catering orders according to Panera standards.
• Coordinate multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Deliver catering orders safely and on time within the designated delivery radius of the café.
• Use your own reliable vehicle for catering deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional service at every delivery and build strong relationships with our guests.
• Communicate with clients to confirm order details, timing, and special requests.
• Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, schools, and community partners to grow catering sales.
• Represent Panera Bread professionally in the community.
• Help create repeat business through outstanding food quality, reliability, and service.

Schedule & Requirements

• Full-Time
• 5:00 AM – 2:00 PM schedule
• Must be available for early morning starts
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle for deliveries
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Must be comfortable driving within the designated delivery radius of the café
• Must be comfortable submitting to a background check 
• Food service, catering, retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
