WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

We are seeking a Human Resources Recruiter to assist with our recruitment and job placement activities for back of house positions in our Cafes. This position will assist the Recruiter with sourcing, screening and interviewing potential Bakers, Cake Team Members and other back of house candidates, while ensuring they have a joyful candidate experience. Our ideal candidate will be passionate, organized, energetic and must be able to identify quality talent. And have a love of food!

 

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with Paris Baguette Corporate and Field management to ensure understanding of current and future hiring needs for all Cafes.
  • Source qualified Baker and Cake Team Member and other back of the house applicants, screens applicants, schedules and conducts interviews.
  • Coordinates references (when applicable) and onboarding of all new hires.
  • Assists with coordinating and attending Career Fairs.
  • Collaborate with District Managers and/or Hiring Managers for back of house hiring needs at Cafes.
  • Provide proper knowledge about our Baker/Cake Team Member training programs to potential candidates.
  • Maintains job descriptions and job postings are up to date and posted as needed on ATS platform and other social media platforms.
  • Reports weekly on candidate pipeline, status and progress of job openings.
  • Able to research and contact culinary schools, employment agencies, recruiters, media outlets and internet sites to provide organization with any information or opportunities that will benefit our hiring needs.
  • Thoroughly discussing job requirements to candidates during the interview process, including benefits, growth opportunities and any other incentives Paris Baguette has to offer.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Entry-level candidates welcomed!
  • 1-2 years of experience recruiting in the food & beverage or restaurant industry, preferred
  • 1-2 years operations experience in a restaurant/bakery café is a plus.
  • Excellent people assessment skills.
  • Savvy with social media, LinkedIn, Indeed & other Recruiting platforms.
  • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible work style, with a successful track record of supporting operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio.
  • Passion for people! Dynamic and engaged leader who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating & developing team members and franchisee relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.
