WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR


We are seeking a Director of Marketing who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a consistent brand image for the Paris Baguette brand, while leading public relations, brand integrations, promotions, events, and vendor partnerships.  The Marketing Director is also responsible, in conjunction with the CMO for the development of the marketing plan and budget.  Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented, passionate and energetic and have a love for food!

 

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for leading, both externally and internally, a consistent brand image for Paris Baguette.
  • Work with the CMO to develop and adhere to the overall Paris Baguette Marketing strategy and budget.
  • Support CMO with strategies around public relations, brand integrations, promotions, events and partnerships for Paris Baguette.
  • Work in collaboration with CMO on execution of an integrated multi-channel communications plan (e.g., mass media, PR, digital, social media, events, promotions and partnerships) to drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s consumer targets, their habits and practices, motivations and barriers to purchase.
  • Develop and manage a team responsible for branding, field promotions, visual marketing and vendor partnerships.
  • Manage and continue to evaluate the Paris Baguette CRM/Loyalty/Affinity program.
  • Develop program/campaign/initiative success criteria; measure results, drive marketing effectiveness through channel/mix analysis.
  • Manage external agency partners (e.g., PR, Media, etc.) to ensure all projects and deadlines are met.
  • Work with operations leadership to develop activities that create and support exceptional guest experience across all touch points (in-café, online, through partnerships etc.
  • Perform routine management tasks that are necessary for the efficient operation of a corporate marketing function.
  • This position may involve travel, estimated at 20%.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support business needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.


 WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE


  • 7-10 years of progressive Marketing experience required.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Able to meet deadlines in an organized and professional matter.
  • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible management style, with a successful track record writing content and facilitation.
  • Passion for people! Dynamic and engaged team member who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating & developing team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Restaurant experience required/ Bakery/Café experience preferred.
  • Love of travel! Ability to commute to all current Corporate and Franchise locations, as well as proposed openings, and Support Office in Moonachie NJ.
