WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR
We are seeking an
Integrated Marketing Manager who will focus on Local Café Marketing, Grand Openings
and Communications.
This ideal candidate
will serve as the Paris Baguette expert in local initiatives and café launch plans
as well as driving national campaigns at the local & regional level. This
individual will oversee the strategy & approach for all local marketing
including media, direct mail, grass roots initiatives and franchisee
communications. They will support our operators with localized marketing plans
and effective grand opening tactics.
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the
development and execution of café level marketing plans that are aligned with
brand standards and designed to achieve sales goals, drive traffic, and
increase brand loyalty; LCM (Local Café Marketing)
- Responsible for evaluating
the effectiveness of marketing strategies, tactics, & programs; providing
feedback and collaborating with the DMs (District Managers) to influence the
evolution of programs, systems & processes.
- Develop and
maintain relationships with agencies of record for local media, grand opening
campaigns, and PR.
- Review and approve
café grand opening press releases in partnership with franchise development
team.
- Manage the local café
marketing portal (collateral, signage & POP) as well as the portal for
local media toolkits (Meta, Web ads, and Direct Mail).
- Host franchisee and
operator LCM webinars to help educate and streamline local café marketing
programs.
- Field operator requests
for LCM support and track ongoing campaigns to determine results and
effectiveness.
- Support local needs
behind grass roots and community initiatives including sponsorships,
fundraising and local charitable opportunities.
- Collaborate with Graphic
Design team on LCM creative needs and portal campaign updates based on
seasonality.
- Execute strategic Café
Grand Opening plans to ensure strong café openings and return on investment.
- In collaboration
with the New Cafe Development team, lead the Franchisees through the Grand
Opening process from initial introductory calls and Q&A through budgeting
and tactics to ensure a robust café launch.
- Prepare LCM and
Grand Opening content presentations for senior leadership meetings that drive
actionable decision making and recommendations for the organization.
- Coordinate, draft
and execute Weekly Marketing Update content for Gatekeeper communications.
- Provide franchisees
and operators with weekly marketing tips to drive additional sales and traffic
within the 4 walls of their cafes.
- Collaborate with
cross functional teams to gather content, develop and execute the monthly Paris
Baguette newsletter.
- Coordinate and
communicate information, content and presentations in preparation for the
seasonal campaign readiness calls; pre and post.
- Track data for
daily sales and guest counts as well as any relevant information, i.e. weather
events/holidays etc. in order to prepare cafes with appropriate local café
marketing materials.
- Work with Brand Marketing
to ideate and refine the seasonal calendar, micro-campaigns, holiday
initiatives, promotions, and activations.
- Mentor and train
team members/interns as needed.
- Perform other
functions as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Minimum of 3-5 years Marketing experience
- Degree in Marketing or related field, preferred.
- Restaurant/QSR or F&B industry experience preferred.
- Franchise model experience preferred.
- Experience in developing marketing campaigns and programs
which deliver profitable ROI
- Able to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
- Balance of strong strategic thinking and flawless execution
- Diverse portfolio of skills and experience, including relationship-building,
metrics, & data reporting and project management.
- Natural collaborator, proactive, solutions-oriented
