WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

We are seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Senior Manager of Training Center Operations to lead and oversee training across our training centers (TCs). This role is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of bakery and café production standards, maintaining training quality, and supporting operational excellence through effective trainee development and trainer coaching.

This position ensures training programs are delivered consistently, trainee progress is accurately tracked, and production, food safety, and operational standards are upheld throughout. The role partners closely with operations leadership, trainers, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop production talent and drive business performance.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and maintain consistency of café and bakery production training programs across all Training Centers (TCs).
  • Maintain standardized training curriculum, materials, and execution processes to ensure consistent learning experience.
  • Ensure trainees are trained in product quality standards, baking procedures, food safety, and operational workflows and best practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own assessment integrity, ensuring evaluation consistency across TCs.
  • Verify trainee competency in production, operational execution, and brand standards.
  • Monitor and verify timely and accurate reporting of training progress, learning status, and completion milestones.
  • Proactively identify and escalate trainee readiness risks, performance gaps, or operational concerns to leadership.
  • Partner with leadership to implement corrective action plans or additional training support when needed.
  • Coach and develop trainers to ensure effective delivery of training programs and consistent execution of standards.
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and identify trainer development opportunities.
  • Ensure trainers model company culture, guest experience standards, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee inventory management within training centers to support production training needs.
  • Monitor product usage, ordering practices, and cost control measures to minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of training progress in real-time, including trainee performance, program outcomes, and readiness status.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, assessments, and compliance records.
  • Track and report key performance indicators related to training effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Other duties may be assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • 5–7 years of experience in bakery, café, restaurant, or food production operations.
  • Experience in training, coaching, or team development in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery production, food safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Experience managing training programs or curriculum implementation highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of inventory management and cost control.
  • Ability to assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible work style, with a successful track record of supporting operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio.
