Reports to: Director of Marketing Strategy & Creative

With a projected 1,000 cafes in the United States by 2030, Paris Baguette is one of the fastest-growing neighborhood bakery cafés in the world. WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

We are seeking a Graphic Designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and digital mediums. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity
  • Develop concepts and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
  • Coordinate and execute seasonal packaging updates, including design alignment, material sourcing, and proof approval and revisions to ensure timely and cohesive product launches
  • Support photo and video shoot planning, storyboarding, execution, intake, and organization of assets
  • Execute seasonal design campaigns including print POP materials, digital ads for paid media and other support elements as needed
  • Support the social media team with creative imagery and design needs for content and posts
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Manager for local marketing initiatives and creative requests
  • Continually enhance the local café portal with user friendly creative elements to drive local marketing initiatives
  • Work with cross functional teams and vendors on a wide range of elements including web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials
  • Work alongside the digital team to manage PB rewards email designs, supporting seasonal campaigns, pop up messaging, and other emails as assigned
  • Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices using the Trello (or other) management system
  • Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets when designing and executing
  • Perform other functions as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ brand design experience with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite
  • Degree in graphic design
  • Restaurant/QSR or F&B industry experience preferred
  • Diverse portfolio of skills and experience, including depth of knowledge in artwork production and pre-press, photography and graphic design principles & processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to continue building skill set with education and training
  • Natural collaborator, proactive, solutions-oriented
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.
