WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY
FOR
As the Director of Operations, you are responsible
for all aspects of Paris Baguette’s day-to-day and ongoing bakery café business
operations. The Director of Operations is responsible for strategically
planning within their market, focused on KPI’s, goals, people, and company
initiatives, with the mission of bringing expertly crafted brewed and baked
goods to our guests, through a warm and welcoming bakery café experience, that
delivers joy to everyone!
KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement both short and long-term tactical and strategic
plans in accordance with business goals and objectives for operations in the
North American market.
- Achieve budget across several different metrics, including,
but not limited to sales, net profit,
guest experience, internal and external audit scores
- Provide direction to the team creating a positive working
environment and supporting a high-performance culture through open
communication and supportive leadership.
- Report regularly to Chief Operating Officer on the company
performance metrics, including, but not limited to: Sales, Guest experience, profitability,
brand compliance, & team development.
- Ensure consistent follow up occurs, around vital company
initiatives
- Coach, mentor and address / advise on team member performance
- Consistently serve as a business partner to our franchisees,
ensuring their cafes are consistently performing at a high level, aligned with
brand standards
- Work collaboratively with cross functional department
leaders to ideate and implement processes
- Ensure and participate in a monthly feedback cycle and
annual compensation review process
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Actively support new market growth and expansion
- Participate and offer guidance on new site selection
- Drive the implementation of best in-class business practices
that promote operational excellence across the company
- Oversee the continuous improvement process for operational
processes and performance; make recommendations for improvements as required
- Maintain all equipment in excellent condition and
appropriately plan for any equipment maintenance and replacement needs as
required
- Uphold all product standards for quality and merchandising
- Ensure organizational compliance with all related
legislations and policies
- Monitor and maintain guest services in accordance with the
company mission and goals
- Ensure organizational compliance with all health and safety
related legislation
- Ensure of a safe and healthy working environment for all
team members ensuring adherence to health and safety policies and programs
- Other duties, as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bakery café experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fast paced, growth
organization
- Progressive leadership experience in a fast-paced and
rapidly growing retail environment with a proven multi-unit restaurant
operations background
- A flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open, and dynamic management
style with a successful record of managing operations leaders and team members
- Passion for people! The qualities of an engaged leader who
has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating & developing team
members
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the
ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced,
ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment
