The Pheasant Inn bordering the village of Shefford Woodlands and overlooking Berkshire’s famed Valley of the Racehorse, our beautiful country inn has a hospitality pedigree that stretches back 450 years. Nestled among the scenic rolling fields of chalk downlands, yet less than a mile from the M4, our 14 bedrooms offer the weary traveller an idyllic haven.
Our regularly changing menus highlight the very best of the seasonal bounty; with flavour and provenance in abundance. Our dishes are simple, classic & flavourful, ensuring that we showcase the finest, seasonal British ingredients throughout our menu.

What we look for in a Deputy Manager:

We are looking for a motivated & experienced Deputy Manager to join and lead our team in our stylish, food focused pub. As the successful Deputy Manager you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management. You will be enthusiastic & driven to continue the success of our pub and play a pivotal part in training our team to ensure they have the knowledge needed to delight our customers.  You will also be someone who is committed to their career in hospitality and we can offer ongoing development to support you as you grow and succeed with us.
