Sous Chef – Up to £18 per hour plus tronc – Fresh Seasonal Food - Chelsea

We’re looking for a creative Sous Chef for a foodie pub with a fantastic reputation – The Phoenix in Chelsea.  We use fresh, seasonal ingredients on a menu that change throughout the year and we’re looking for someone who is passionate about crafting fantastic plates of food for our discerning guests. You’ll be second in command, and your duties will include looking after all aspects of kitchen management, leading shifts, supporting our Head Chef in recipe creation and helping to develop our team. In return we can offer you all the development you need – if Head Chef is what you are after we can work with you in-house as well as offer you access to a range of development opportunities and culinary skills courses. The Phoenix, Chelsea is a quirky little pub just off the King's Road, that has a dedicated custom from the locals in Chelsea. Known as the 'go-to' pub for food, wine, or decent beer, our little pub hidden away on Smith Street is a refuge to those that know. As a food-orientated pub our menu goes beyond your usual classics, with a heavy focus on specials that are truly special, giving customers and our chefs a chance to try something different and interesting on a regular basis.
