Premier Foods Wholesale is seeking a reliable and skilled Multi drop HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage multiple drops.

Duties

• Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Premier Foods positively at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid Class 2 Licence, Tachograph and driver CPC
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading tasks effectively.

Early Starts between 2am-4am
