We are recognised for our award‑winning service, fast‑paced operation, and seven‑day‑a‑week reliability, supporting restaurants, hotels, caterers, and major events nationwide. We operate at the heart of the fresh and frozen supply chain, where speed, precision, and commercial instinct are essential to success.

About the Role

We are hiring a detail‑oriented and highly organised Finance Assistant to support our finance team with the smooth running of day‑to‑day operations. We rely on this role to maintain accuracy across our financial processes, keep our systems running efficiently, and ensure our fast‑paced business has the reliable financial support it needs to perform at its best.

Location:  London

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate financial data entry.
  • Manage customer invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records regularly.

Bank Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.

Expense Management

  • Process employee expense claims in line with company policy.
  • Track and report on company expenses to support budget management.

Data Entry & Record Keeping

  • Maintain well-organised and secure financial records.
  • Ensure financial documentation is accurate and accessible.

Audit & Compliance Support

  • Assist with audit preparations by gathering and organising financial documents.
  • Support compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the finance department.
  • Assist with responding to internal queries and maintaining smooth departmental operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • AAT qualification is a strong advantage
  • Experience in a finance or accounting support role
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Confident using spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
