Cook – Watergate Bay Hotel | Pizza Container

This winter, we’re bringing a 360-square-metre ice rink to Watergate Bay for the very first time. Set against the Atlantic with sea views, festive lights and crisp coastal air. Open daily to locals and hotel guests it’s skating, reimagined right on the shoreline.

After working up an appetite on the ice, our visitors will de-boot and tuck into woodfired pizzas, spice-infused mulled wine, cider and hot chocolate!

To give our guests and visitors the best experience this festive season we’re looking for cooks to work from our Pizza container during the winter months to provide a wonderful culinary service. For this cook role you’ll join us at Watergate Bay on a festive seasonal contract from October through to early January.

Our Cook role:

We’ll be offering a delicious pizza menu from our pizza container right by the ice rink. It will be the perfect post skate treat and we’re looking for someone to cook exceptional pizza’s, serving only the best to each guest.

As our Cook, you’ll be:

• Preparing and cooking wood fired pizzas
• Understanding stock rotation and date labelling
• Producing food to a high standard
• Working well under pressure – this will be a fast-paced role
• Adhering to food hygiene regulations
• Working well as part of a team

This is a temporary contract from October through to early January.

We have several part-time and full-time hours available. The pizza container will be open on the following days/times so shifts will be scheduled to cover over these timings. Your availability and our requirements will be discussed at the interview stage.

Monday & Tuesday: 3pm - 8pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 12noon - 8pm
Friday & Sunday: 10am - 8pm
Saturday: 11am – 9pm
