The Role:
Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun, dynamic hospitality professionals who are driven to build lasting client relationships, drive new revenue, and help us become the premier choice for group entertainment and private events in London.
As the Business Development Manager for our Bank and White City venues, you will lead all outbound sales initiatives, proactively developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of corporate, social, and agency business. You’ll focus on strategic account management, venue-specific event growth, and market penetration to maximise group revenue across both sites.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term partnerships. You'll also work closely with the General Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimal guest experience.
Location: Puttshack HQ - City of London, Bank.
Working Hours: 45 hours per week, shifts between Monday to Saturday
Pay Range: DOE (basic + commission)
Reports to: Marketing & Sales Director
Key Responsibilities:
• Bring your 'A' Game every day and lead by example, fully embodying Puttshack’s core values
• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive new B2B and B2C business for Bank and White City venues
• Manage and grow relationships with promotors and partners for all venues
• Source and secure new event revenue through outbound prospecting, lead generation, networking, and referrals
• Establish, grow, and manage a portfolio of key corporate accounts, agencies, and local businesses
• Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted outreach campaigns and sales activations
• Deliver engaging presentations and venue tours to potential clients, converting leads into confirmed bookings
• Identify and attend relevant networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote the Puttshack brand
• Regularly analyse and report on KPIs, including revenue growth, conversion rates, pipeline health, and account performance
• Work closely with the venue teams to ensure event delivery meets or exceeds client expectations
• Support accurate forecasting, budgeting, and tracking of event revenue and spend per head (SPH)
• Represent Puttshack’s interests across the London hospitality and events landscape, acting as a brand ambassador at all times

• Commercially astute, with an understanding of event ROI and revenue metrics
• Passionate about hospitality, entertainment, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences
• Resilient, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a results-driven environment
Qualifications and Experience:
• A minimum of 1+ years’ experience in a similar sales or business development role, ideally in a high volume (£2M+ annual event/groups revenue) venue, restaurant group, hotel, or entertainment/leisure environment
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
• Existing knowledge of and network within the London corporate, agency, and event planning scene highly advantageous
• Overall knowledge of the local area businesses and existing client base an advantage
• Proficiency with booking systems (Triple Seat and Seven Rooms) and reporting
• Availability to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends based on client needs
