 The Role: Head Pastry Chef 

The Restaurant: Quaglino's

The Location: 16 Bury St, St. James's, London SW1Y 6AJ

The Salary: up to 50k per annum

A bit about what you will be doing


We are looking for an experienced Head Pastry Chef to join the team at  Quaglino's

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the pastry team in creating, innovating, and executing a diverse range of high-quality pastries, desserts, and Chocolate work
  • Producing show stopper desserts.
  • Develop and refine recipes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring ingredients are sourced fresh and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Train, mentor, and inspire junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, with a strong background in creating a variety of pastries and desserts.
  • Pastry Qualification or relevant certification preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation in pastry arts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
