Job Description 

We are looking for a Director Global Luxury and Lifestyle Sales, EMEA based in the US - West Coast to join our team!

Mission and Purpose:

  • To drive profitable revenue (Transient) and market share growth for growth for the Radisson Hotel Group through the focus on a selected portfolio of existing strategic accounts as defined by the line manager via the 3rd Party Intermediaries (Luxury Agencies, Luxury Consortia’s and Luxury DMCs) to ensure account development is properly implemented at all levels, and where applicable identify Meetings & Events opportunities.
  • Responsible for Global Luxury Consortia RFPs, Global luxury agency network RFPs and Contract negotiation and implementation
  • Develop relationships within appointed Account portfolio in order to drive profitable revenue and market share growth for the Radisson Hotel Group
  • Create and follow-through on marketing plans in support of RHG portfolio and brand specific
  • Develop knowledge of each account, its pipeline, full global potential, supplier management and strategic focus
  • Create consultative selling approach to maximise commercial opportunity for Radisson Hotel Group
  • Work alongside, communicate & co-ordinate with other Sales Team Members across Areas/Theatres to deliver total Account planning.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other department of the commercial organisation to ensure that relevant strategy is understood and aligned.
  • Ensure that travel agent FAM trips are scheduled and professionally conducted.
  • Actively participate in trade shows as needed by hotel and corporate office.
Key roles responsibilities:

1.     To develop and manage a portfolio of selected global lifestyle and luxury agencies and consortia account as per RHG customer lifecycle standards.

2.     To drive profitable transient growth through the strategic accounts to meet budget, and capture incremental business opportunities for the Radisson Hotel Group (all brands and types)

  1. To ensure product knowledge of RHG portfolio, and identified key hotels

4.     To research, identify and establish new business sales contacts, develop relationships and revenue opportunities from existing clients

5.     To develop and implement focused strategies for account development in order to maximize accounts and communicate to all internal stakeholders, leveraging collaboration and work from analytics

6.     To undertake regular meetings and activities with managed accounts and ensure they have the knowledge to grow business and revenues

7.     To agree marketing activity to underpin the account strategies and deliver increased customer / market share activity monitors progress on a timely basis

8.     To ensure regular communication with clients to deliver key messages and support the hotels as/when required

9.     To organize, participate and host client events and familiarization trips, to enhance relationship and build client knowledge

10.  To demonstrate a growth in production revenues and market share with account base, focused on total profitable revenue

11.  To ensure all activities are recorded within all accounts via CRM regularly

12.  To work with Area Sales Teams and sales support team to assist handling enquiries, account development and follow up on key leads

13.  To ensure new business transacted via the Global Sales Team is handled professional and researched for further future potential

14.  To attend team meetings as/when required

15.  To perform regular communications with all stakeholders internally & externally

16.  To participate in industry networking events and maximize membership within industry associations

17.  To stay on top of industry trends, news, competitor activities and update the team accordingly

18.  Promote the LUSSO hotel partner program in the region to luxury agency partners

19.  Manages and optimized budget approved for the region.
