Description
The Rainbow Room, the quintessential New York venue, has been the site of some of the city's most celebrated events since first opening in 1934.

What you do...
• Ensure all deliveries are picked up by and delivered to proper department representatives.
• Verify, count and sign packing slips, match with invoices and codes for accounting.
• Communicate shorts and overages on invoices.
• Responsible for organization and sanitation of receiving areas and storage rooms.
• Maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure profitability by minimizing dead stock items.
• Label, date, store & rotate all food and beverage to avoid spoilage and control waste while maintaining health, sanitation and safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain storage spaces for equipment and for china, glassware and silverware (CGS).
• Receive and organize all equipment and CGS deliveries making sure all items are stored correctly.
• Communicate all discrepancies to the purchasing managers.
• Store & rotate all food deliveries to the 65 floor kitchen.
• Participate in month end Inventory CGS.

• • The Beverage Coordinator is responsible for receive incoming beverage (Wine, Liquor & Beer) orders to property.
• Assist with daily and monthly beverage inventory.
• Rotate beverage stock between the various beverage storage areas & outlets.
• Beverage event products set up and break down.
• Maintain wines by the bottle.
• Verify, count and sign packing slips, match with invoices and codes for accounting.
• Communicate shorts and overages on invoices.
• Responsible for organization of beverage receiving areas and beverage storage rooms.
• Maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure profitability by minimizing dead stock items.
• Label, date, store & rotate all beverage products (Wine, liquor, beer) to avoid spoilage and control waste while maintaining health, sanitation and safety standards and regulations.
• Above all must actively embody, inspire and teach the core values to all employees.

Other things to consider….
• A significant portion of the work day requires walking and standing.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• While performing the essential duties of this job the employee is frequently required to work in a limited physical space with variable atmospheric conditions including ventilation, lighting, smoke and extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space and to reach other locations of the restaurant on a timely basis.
• Must be able to work in an area where the noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Must be able to follow uniform and grooming guidelines.
• Must be able to follow all other policies implemented by Rainbow Room.
• Must be able to be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time and able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions and other departments throughout the property.
• Must be able to perform duties in locations over 60 stories above ground and be comfortable in elevators.
