The Rainbow Room, the quintessential New York venue, has been the site of some of the city's most celebrated events since first opening in 1934.

Your Role….

• The Beverage Manager will be responsible for management and coordination of the beverage program for the Rainbow Room complex including the private dining club, a la carte and banquet operations.
• The Beverage Manager will aid leadership in the daily monitoring of the Banquet Department and Bar Sixty Five operations and staff.
• This position will collaborate with the operations managers and purchasing department to ensure spirits, wine and liquor programs are well coordinated from both a cost and quality perspective. Service must maintain an extraordinary level of excellence based on specs of ownership.
• Assist with monitoring department goals.
• Assist with daily and monthly beverage inventory.
• Rotate beverage stock between the various beverage storage areas and outlets.
• Beverage event products set up and break down.
• Maintain wines by the bottle.
• Communicate shorts and overages on invoices.
• Responsible for organization of beverage receiving areas and beverage storage rooms.
• Maintain acceptable inventory levels and ensure profitability by minimizing dead stock items.
• Label, date, store & rotate all beverage products (Wine, liquor & beer) to avoid spoilage and control waste while maintaining health, sanitation and safety standards and regulations.
• Shared responsibility for Front of the House, Public Space and Locker Room areas.
• Above all must actively embody, inspire and teach the core values to all employees.
