Description

We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our incredible Sales Team.


As Sales Executive, you will be required to maximise revenue opportunities in the areas of social and corporate events sales i.e. weddings, birthdays, Anniversaries, Private Dinning, charity dinners etc. on top Hotel room bookings. The Sales Executive will be interacting frequently with customers via phone initially by handling telephone enquiries followed by encouraging them by inviting them for face to face meetings with the intention of securing the sales for organising their weddings/events for food catering and décor/design ensuring maximum revenue for the company demonstrating excellent customer service skills and knowledge of the wedding arrangements and by doing so ultimate target will be to maximise sales, earn repeat clients and expansion of overall business.

This is a full time position Monday - Friday with some evening and weekends included. 

Sales Executive will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Respond to all incoming enquiries (phone, e-mail or pro-active sales team) for all forms of events
  • Conduct tours with potential clients of the event spaces to discuss there up and coming event needs and close the booking
  • Use all opportunities to up-sell from the hotel to restaurant facilities
  • Responsible for contracting the client to booking
  • Ensure all relevant information for the event is captured for the function sheets
  • To effectively manage and develop a portfolio of network accounts to drive more revenue to the business;
  • To ensure that the highest level of service is provided to all guests & clients
  • Attend networking and business events as and when

  • A successful track record of customer service experience essential
  • Good negotiation, persuasion and upselling skills
  • previous experience in selling events, from weddings to Christmas parties and everything in between
  • Selling experience within a site with multiple cross selling opportunities
  • Excellent English spoken and written communication skills
  • Team player with strong & positive interpersonal skills but able to work independently to achieve targets
  • Target driven and hungry to sell more every month in this growing business
  • Ability to adapt to a frequently changing market environment. Be proactive and able to “think outside of the box”
  • Ability to develop constructive relationships with internal departments
  • Detail oriented and hands on approach
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
