  • Job Title: Group Sales Executive
  • Responsible For: Wedding Sales, Meeting and Events Sales
  • Reports To: Group Sales Manager
  • Seniority: Head / Support Office
  • Hybrid, but must be able to travel to Three Swans Hotel in Market Harborough at least one day per week

As Group Sales Executive you will work as a key member of the Central Events Sales team to support both Red Cat Pub Company and The Coaching Inn Group to maximize Revenue, and profit across the group. You will drive excellence in Client Booking Experience, and Business Conversion.

You will deliver long term, value based, internal and external customer relationships that enable the achievement of our company wide goals.

This is an incentivised role, to drive and increase Event Sales across the Group.

Roles and Responsibilities

Meetings & Events Sales

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers looking for weddings, meetings & events.
  • Handling enquiries from potential customers, made on our centralized sales line, made by email or by third party booking agents.
  • Arrange wedding & event show rounds with the hotel. Following up after the site visit, with a view to making a sale.
  • Administrative tasks, including contracting and invoicing, updating PMS systems.
  • Enquiry management for Meetings and Events enquiries from first contact to arrival at the hotel. Communicating with the site to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Provide reactive and proactive account management of live and dead enquiries and post booking, follow up communication and feedback collection.
  • Organize & maintain the sales department’s documentation, including contracts, proposals and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with site teams, hotel managers and teams, to facilitate activity.
  • Attending Wedding Open Days and external trade fayres as required.
  • Work on Creating promotions, initiatives and offers to drive sales for Weddings/ Events.

Experience required:

  • Experience in a customer focused role, such as Sales or as an Events Co-ordinator, reception or reservations
  • Experience managing multiple projects and enquiries at any one time.
  • Interest in attending Wedding Fairs, Trade Fairs etc
