The Redeye Grill is a New York Brasserie located across the street from Carnegie Hall on 7th Avenue at 56th Street. Its name derived from the infamous late-night flight linking America’s two cultural hubs. Floor to ceiling columns painted by celebrated artists along with original Red Grooms artwork creates a sophisticated, timeless and comfortable atmosphere. The Redeye has an exceptional wine list along with new and exciting specialty cocktails. The Redeye Grill has been a favorite for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, and private events serving dishes from sushi to locally sourced fish, steaks and produce for over 25 years. It reopens in May of 2019 after a year-long and extensive remodel and will include The Steak Joint - a 50 seat prime steak house and 888 Cafe and Bar - an all-day bistro featuring shareable plates, burgers, sandwiches, salads perfect for lunch, a quick bite, before or after Carnegie Hall and a few selected entrees . Diners at 888 can also enjoy menu items from the Redeye Grill menu.
