RESTAURANT ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER NEEDED! (Females preferred) Brooklyn (Williamsburg), NY
RESTAURANT PLACEMENT GROUP is searching for a Top-Notch ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER, for a VERY cool new “Global Cuisine” concept, soon to be THE new hot spot of the booming Williamsburg area! FEMALE Applicants Preferred!
Tremendous opportunity to be a key member of the opening team, and join a VERY strong, well-established local restaurant group (NOT a chain!). Generous salary, bonuses, benefits, plus advancement & growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. 2+ years RESTAURANT Management experience with high-volume, service-oriented, food-centric operations. Strong Management skills, focusing on Customer SERVICE. Particular expertise with global/international cuisine (Asian, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Latin) is a definite plus (but not required).
FEMALE Managers are preferred (but not required), and are very encouraged to apply.
2. Personable, energetic, and outgoing, with great people skills. Comfortable with public appearances, TV interviews, community involvement, etc. Good with Social Media, Community relations, local Business-Building.
3. Hands-on, hard working manager who leads by example. Management experience including hiring, training, mentoring, P&Ls, cost controls, etc.
4. New Restaurant OPENINGs, Food Safety Cert, Local (Brooklyn) residency, and Female applicants are preferred (but not required).
5. Stable track record with good references. Able to pass background check, drug screening, proof of citizenship, or other screenings. Committed to a long-term career and advancement. Able to start ASAP!
