Description

The Role... 

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Tenders to join our team on a part/full time basis with hours to be discussed at interview.

Key responsibilities of the Bar Tender will include:

  • Warmly welcoming guests ensuring that your voice, manner and behaviour portrays a warm, welcoming and friendly demeanour at all times
  • Provide prompt and professional Food & Beverage Service at all times
  • Be familiar with Service Standards, monitoring adherence to these and ensuring staff are trained as required and aware of these standards
  • Support the team in a hands on approach in setting up & clearing tables
  • To ensure that bar service areas are maintained to an acceptable level of cleanliness and hygiene, and the cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily basis

The ideal candidate for the Bartender positions should:

  • Have previous/current experience within a similar role, working behind a bar
  • Have a strong foundation on the "art of mixology" and classic cocktails
  • Have a good product knowledge in all aspects of beverage (i.e. wines, spirits, beer, etc)
  • Have previous experience as a barista
  • Have excellent communication skills 
  • Have a friendly, bubbly, flexible attitude and have an infectious drive to be creative.
  • Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively

Salary and Contract

This role requires flexibility as the hours that are available will include working evenings and weekends and additional hours during our busiest times. If you have what it takes to join a vibrant, multi award winning hotel such as The Headland, we would love to hear from you.
