Order Fulfilment Assistant | land&water – The Hangar | Part-time, 16 hours

Our Order Fulfilment Assistant role

We’re looking for an Order Fulfilment Assistant to join our welcoming team.

You’ll be someone who feels energised by purpose-led business, enjoys rolling up their sleeves, and is excited to help shape the next chapter of a growing British wellness brand.

We're a small, passionate team united by a love of thoughtful design, natural ingredients and exceptional customer experiences. From product development to fulfilment, every part of the business is driven by care: for our customers, our team and the environment that inspires us.

This is a part-time position, working Monday to Thursday (10:15am–2:15pm). Hours are flexible for the right candidate, with additional availability required during staff holidays and busy periods.

What you’ll be responsible for

As our Order Fulfilment Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the efficient fulfilment of wholesale and retail orders and be responsible for the selecting, packing, and dispatching of orders, whilst maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service.

You’ll manage inventory levels, receive and unload deliveries, and ensure products and materials are stored safely and will implement effective stock rotation practices, minimise waste and maintain product quality.

In addition, you’ll support the smooth day-to-day operation of the business by carrying out light administrative duties as required.

You’ll also

  • Ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective fulfilment of customer orders, maintaining high presentation standards throughout the picking, packing, and dispatch process.
  • Support effective inventory management by monitoring stock levels, forecasting replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure products are fit for purpose and maintain efficient stock rotation practices to minimise waste.
  • Carry out team administrative tasks as required.
  • Adhere to established operating procedures, quality standards, and health and safety guidelines to ensure the smooth and efficient running of operations.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with team, contributing to a collaborative environment and supporting shared business objectives.

Please note, this position involves regular manual handling, including the movement and lifting of stock.

What you’ll be sharing with us

  • Ability to safely unload supplier deliveries, move stock between locations and undertake regular manual handling activities.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach to working with colleagues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and products are handled with care.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative, while also contributing positively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Organised, reliable, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Competent IT skills, including a working knowledge of computer systems and the ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
