Description

Riding House Cafés is a collection of successful independent modern restaurants, serving neighbourly hospitality and awesome food and drinks. We are looking to recruit a passionate, hard-working and career-minded Events Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

Riding House Cafés is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and personable Events Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of festive events across our venues.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests. You’ll work closely with clients and our restaurant teams, coordinating everything from initial enquiries and bookings through to the successful delivery of each event.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage event enquiries via phone and email, responding promptly and professionally.

• Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and recommending suitable event spaces, menus and packages.

• Coordinate private dining, corporate events, celebrations and group bookings.

• Prepare event proposals, quotations and booking details.

• Maintain accurate event diaries and ensure all information is communicated clearly to venue and operational teams.

• Liaise with kitchen, front-of-house and management teams to ensure events run smoothly.

• Coordinate menus, drinks packages, timings, room layouts and special requests.

• Conduct venue show-rounds for prospective clients.

• Support the team in maximising event sales and identifying opportunities to increase revenue.

• Confirm final guest numbers, dietary requirements and event details ahead of each booking.

• Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire event journey, from first enquiry to post-event follow-up.

• Assist with event administration, invoicing and reporting where required.

• Help maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and encourage repeat business.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Confident communicating with guests, clients and colleagues.

• Friendly, professional and naturally hospitable.

• Comfortable managing multiple events and enquiries at the same time.

• Calm and solutions-focused when working under pressure.

• Commercially aware and confident discussing event packages and upselling opportunities.

• A strong team player who enjoys working collaboratively.

• Experienced in hospitality, events, reservations or a customer-facing environment.

• Confident using email, booking systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Previous events or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but enthusiasm,

organisation and a genuine passion for delivering great guest experiences are equally important.

What We Offer

• A dynamic role within Riding House Cafés.

• The opportunity to work across a variety of exciting events and occasions.

• Training and opportunities for career development.

• A supportive and sociable hospitality team.

• Staff benefits and discounts.

• Competitive salary and benefits package.
