Description
Provide a warm and hospitable environment to guests of Rosa Mexicano. Learn and maintain Rosa Mexicano knowledge, re: food/beverage/service standards. Educate guests on food/beverage recipes and walk them through the dining experience in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Take food and beverage orders, efficiently deliver items and process financial transactions for guests. Solve guest related issues as they arise. Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
•Promptly and warmly greet guests in dining room; demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients and advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodates reasonable requests and notes preferences.
•Take food and beverage orders in an efficient manner, following established steps of service. •Delivers food promptly and professionally; maintains safe food handling and sanitation standards. •Follows up periodically to assist with any additional needs or request. Promptly address guest concerns; relay relevant information directly to management •Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures. •As needed, demonstrates knowledge of specialized diets and allergens
•Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding guest personal and medical information that is shared.
•Communicates directly with BOH staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Performs other duties as assigned and follows managers’ instructions.
