HOURS: Full-time and part-time available

OPPORTUNITY: RECENT OPENING. An exciting opportunity for a front of house Assistant Manager to join the team of a brand new Australian Sushi QSR. This role offers a clear pathway to leadership, with progression into the Assistant General Manager role as part of a short term succession plan.

Saltwater is inspired by the extraordinary Japanese food culture that has developed in Australia. Saltwater serves innovative and accessible sushi and hot rice bowls defined by high quality produce and friendly, engaged service. Our mantra is to create fast restaurant quality food with Australian soul. 

Atmosphere: A counter-service venue where sushi is made fresh to order in full view of customers, offering a bakery-style selection process alongside seating for up to 50 guests

 Who we are looking for: 

• A warm, welcoming, and genuine personality with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.

• A reliable, punctual, and accountable self-starter who is adaptable, quick to learn, and eager to grow and succeed.

• A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting others, and contributing to a positive team culture.

• Previous experience in high-volume casual dining or QSR, with a strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and maintaining 5-star standards at all times.

• Leadership, reporting, and computer skills are desirable. 

• Ensure every shift runs smoothly, safely, and to Saltwater standards in the absence of senior leaders.

• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

• Drive sales and seek opportunities to further the growth of the business
