KITCHEN PORTER – £12–£14 PER HOUR

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.

Salary: £12–£14 per hour, depending on experience

The Kitchen Porter plays an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation throughout service.

You will work closely with the chefs and wider kitchen team, helping to ensure that equipment, work areas and kitchen facilities are kept clean, organised and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans and dishes
• Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Ensuring equipment and utensils are returned quickly during busy service
• Cleaning floors, surfaces, storage areas and kitchen equipment
• Managing waste and recycling correctly
• Receiving and helping organise deliveries when required
• Assisting with basic food preparation when requested
• Supporting chefs and other kitchen team members during busy periods
• Following all food safety, health and safety and hygiene procedures
• Keeping cleaning products and equipment stored safely
• Completing opening and closing cleaning duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, as training can be provided. More importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

You should be reliable, punctual, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
