Assistant Manager £32,000-£38,000 per annum + annual bonus
We are currently recruiting for the role of an
Assistant Manager to join our growing company, helping us to expand our business and build on our reputation for excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality
- Organise and monitor staff schedule
- Organise and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Actively promote all the venues and its events
- Train new and current employees on proper guest service practices
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Ensure a smooth closing of the venue
- Attend meeting and trainings when required
Requirements
- Advanced level of written and spoken English
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to work well with others with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Knowledge of all applicable software
Schedule
- 2 double shifts and 3 single shifts per week, 2 days off.
- Double shifts start in the morning, finishing closing the restaurant with an hour break.
- Single shift starts in the evening before the dinner service.
