Perched proudly on Appledore Quay, The Seagate Hotel is a much-loved coastal pub-with-rooms where the beer is cold, the seafood is fresh, and the views are good enough to make your commute feel like a holiday. We’re a lively mix of locals, walkers, sailors, dogs (lots of dogs), and visitors who came for a pint and somehow stayed the weekend.

Inside, you’ll find a characterful pub full of charm, cracking food, and a buzzing atmosphere. Upstairs, we have beautifully styled bedrooms  many with sea views so guests can roll out of bed straight into breakfast (we wish we could do that on shift). Whether it’s sunny terrace drinks in summer or cosy fireside pints in winter, there’s never a dull day at The Seagate.
