Description

The Shelborne South Beach is looking for a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Supervisor for our 2 Korean Girls Pop-up restaurant. As a Kitchen Supervisor you will be responsible to supervisor the kitchen operations to ensure the team is following standard recipes, food safety and providing the highest level of food quality to our guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assign, in detail, specific duties to employees for the efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items and presentation.
  • Assist Kitchen Manager in schedule kitchen staff so that proper coverage is maintained while keeping payroll costs in line.
  • Assist Kitchen Manager in proper receiving, storage (including temperature setting), and rotation of food products so as to comply with health department regulations.
  • Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality.
  • Adhere all kitchen staff follow food safety requirements.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the restaurant.

  • Prepare food according to standard recipes.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Experience                 

Minimum of one (2) year experience as a Kitchen Supervisor required, preferred in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR).
