Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a baker/cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Communication skills
A Day in The Life
- Prepare delicious pastries at the Sicilian Baker.
- Put together baked goods that delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery, and follow recipes closely.
- Move around the kitchen quickly and multitask
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients (baking, chopping, peeling, vegetables, etc.)
- Cook food with various utensils or equipment
- Check food while cooking to stir or turn
- Ensure great presentation
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check the quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

The Sicilian Butcher is a Chef-driven neighborhood restaurant developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore. It is a modern-casual meatball and butchery-inspired concept and is the first of its kind to launch in Phoenix.
