Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a baker/cook
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Communication skills

 

A Day in The Life

  • Prepare delicious pastries at the Sicilian Baker.
  • Put together baked goods that delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery, and follow recipes closely.
  • Move around the kitchen quickly and multitask
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients (baking, chopping, peeling, vegetables, etc.)
  • Cook food with various utensils or equipment
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Ensure great presentation 
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check the quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages


WHO WE ARE

The Sicilian Butcher is a Chef-driven neighborhood restaurant developed by celebrity chef Joey Maggiore. It is a modern-casual meatball and butchery-inspired concept and is the first of its kind to launch in Phoenix.
